Introducing: Back in the Pines

I have spent too many days thinking of a way I could create a platform to share my passion of the outdoors with others. Word of mouth and face to face conversations didn’t seem to meet my unique desires of expression. Creating a piece of literature and waiting for an established individual to pick it up for me wasn’t cutting it. So I decided to take things into my own hands and make my idea come to life. This is what manifested. I collaborated with web professionals, artists, graphic designers, and other avid outdoorsmen to create and tweak what you see here today. Still fresh and new, the content is of course for the time being, limited – but I wanted a blank canvas to start with and the ability to branch off as ideas circulated through my mind. Here you will see a unique set of thoughts and pieces produced often, with the utmost attention to detail, and the willingness to share my ideas and experiences with others. Images captured in the field, and in the daily life of an outdoorsmen in the “My Season” tab. Original pieces by myself, and others more talented than I. Reviews for the gear we use, and ideas for the gear we don’t have in the “Gear” tab. Stories that grip your soul, from anyone willing to share them in the “Stories” tab. As my main passion lies around bow-hunting deer, the archer will find all things whitetail. The rest is left open to the readers and contributors. What you want to read, what you want to see, will all be collaborated and produced.

As we grow, more opportunities will arise and I will take them. The possibilities to what we can create are endless, and that is what I wish to convey through this platform moving forward. In closing, I would like to first personally thank you for taking time out of your day to read this, and support what I am doing. I hope you find yourself enjoying the content I put out on a regular basis, and I hope you tell your friends. Feel free to send me stories, articles, or any other content you deem worthy to be published, as this is a collaboration of our ideas. Last, I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me during the process. Hopefully you will continue to support my ideas and goals. Hopefully :-)

Thank you, everyone.
